Shift From ON1 Photo Raw to Affinity Photo

Hello everyone!
In late April I applied to ”daily activities”. My former case manager did not ”approve” that papers back then because she was gonna quit in June… Yea she could have fixed all the papers before that…
Now I have a new case manager. And she have been very slow. So in the end I emailed her that she better call me this date and time if she wanna keep being my case manager. Well she did.
And now it’s all started trolling.
She approved me few days later.
So now this paper is on another person desk. And more waiting…..
But maybe that is a good thing. Because I need to buy a new pair of Headphones before it starts.🤣
ON1 Photo Raw Replaced
Few years back I bought a photo editing app called ON1 Photo Raw.
Now with me getting a new computer and felt like I wanted to start edit some of my photos for wallpaper pack, I tried to download it again.
Did not work.
Reached out to them and they: ”well your version does not work with you MacOS, but here you get 30% to upgrade”.
No, thanks. I pay for a program, then I should be able to use it. I know their new 2024 version is coming very soon, but I don’t have money for that.
Also 30% is lame! Because I have 25% extra on their apps because of stupid VAT here in Sweden. That means I only get 5% off……
I got little angry with them, and told them that I find it rude. All of this. So they sent me a download link so I could download it anyway.
Why not start with that? Well they tried to sell me the new thing.
But before they even gave me that link, I kind of set myself on to a mission. To learn editing my photos the same way but in Affinity Photo. So I started to search for ”moody” editing on YouTube.
Now I don’t feel like I want to use ON1 anymore.
If they sent me a mail saying my version would not work I would not have complained. But they did not.
I did end up start editing my photos in Affinity Photo and I’m liking it a lot! Been doing a few. And I found my jam for it. In ON1 I had a present that I choose and only changed the color adjustments, nothing more.
With Affinity Photo I take more control over it all!

My Art Journey
The past week I have been trying out Rebelle 6! And I’m liking it a lot. Was planning on trying it out a while a go but it never happen because I was not allowed to import my sketch into the trial version.
That is still a thing.
With that I have not come up with much new art. Been focusing on exploring this Wonderfull software. Mostly because I’m planning on doing a video review of it. That one will come in January. But a written review will come here in coming weeks.
I’m planning on buying it, but I will wait and see if Black Friday will have some offers on it.
(Also I just heard Rebelle 7 is around the corner)
But I can give you a little sneak peek on a new drawing that I’m currently working on. Another Frame studie, of Toji from Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. Planning to be a video about frame studies. 😊
Dauntless
The art book for the game with the same name. A game where you team up with 3 other people (if you want) To take out a beast.
This book has a lot of inspiration for creature design, environment and even weaponry. I use this book a lot for these things.
And yes I played the game, been a while since last.
