Hello!
I recently got the on-ear headphones JBL LIVE670NC.
I needed some headphones that worked great with my thick glasses and to block out the annoying sounds at the dagligverksamhet.
Because when I changed day to be there (from Tuesday to Friday), more people was present, and more sound.
I was so out that night.
So I ordered these. Been looking at them because of the Adoptive Noise Cancelling they offer. And I never used JBL.
Also they had a good price.
Right after I did order them my brother asked if he could buy them as a birthday present and I said yes.
I’m super happy with them! They do the work it needs to do.
Sure it does not block out all the noise as my Sony XM2.
But Sony is in a different league! So is Bose.
When I did try them out first time at daglig, a person was vacuum cleaning. When I put them on and turned them on. I heard the noise cancelling tone down the vacuum sound.
Once the music was playing I did not longer pay attention to it.
Sure you had to put up the volume. But I guess that could be my ears. Not the headphones.
Over all they did what they should do. Block out and let me get less tired! And it worked!
You can pair it with two devices. Multi connection or something they call it. So if you play on one and change the headphones should change too.
It also has auto pause if you take it off. I turned it off because it kept stopping every time I tried to adjust the placement.
But it’s somehow there anyway when I move them to much or hard. Super hard to explain.
Also have touch control on right side. Turned those off too. Too sensitive. Had to play around with the EQ in the app they offer to get the right kind of sound.
Took what I had with my Sony XM2 and I hit the jackpot with them!
The app offers a lot of goodies. Not even sure what everything does.
And best of all, I can move around in my whole apartment without it cutting off.
Something my Audio-Technica is struggling with, big time.
These are on ears, so ear does get warm after a few of wearing them. The clamp force is not bad either.
Overall, worth the money for sure!
🌿Procrastination With ADHD
Have you ever had an empty bottle of shampoo lying on the bathroom floor. You know you need to pick it up and throw it in the trash. But you are just unable to bend your knees and grab it.
”I do it tomorrow”.
Tomorrow becomes days. Days become weeks. And before you know it, there is two bottle on the ground. Making it the double the effort to pick it up.
This is my daily life in my home. No energy to pick something so simple up. And you know why that is?
People with ADHD are GODS when it comes to procrastination.
To find the motivation and energy to do something simple.
But this is not only about the simple stuff. It also happens with the stuff we really wanna do. Like drawing, go for a walk, among others.
I came an across a very good tweet a while ago on Twitter about Procrastination.
It said
”Non- ADHD people: Procrastinate stuff they don’t wanna do.”
ADHD people: Procastinate stuff we wanna do,”
But the simple question is still, why? Well when it comes to motivation for people with ADHD, I can say, we lack it big time. Why? Its because of our good chemical brain system. Like Dopamine.
We are on a constant hunt for a dopamine hit. And in the beginning we do get it. But over time we lose it. And we just stop. Because we don’t see the point in doing it anymore.
Also when it comes to procrastination, if we have done something that takes energy. Like say doing a voice over for a YouTube video. You remember how exhausted you felt after it. Meaning you push it more and more, because you don’t wanna feel that way.
And in a way it does go hand in hand with the dopamine hit. Instead of getting it, you get something else. Something awful.
But how can we change it? Well you could probably take meds for it. To help with the brain chemicals. But I don’t take meds. I’m against it.
I’m more for doing the healthy way. But doing so you need professional help. Something I seem to not get. But you maybe can! So don’t give up on that!
My way of doing all this is just take the days as they come. If my energy is low, well let me procrastinate the hell out of that day.
But some days I get a kick in energy. Or I feel its to dirty and crap, then I do it. It just happens.
But I have to admit, it can take weeks before it does happen. Simple stuff.
When it comes to stuff I really wanna do. Well when I get that feeling on new ideas, I try to sit down and do it. Rather to keep thinking of it.
Or write it down in a small note book for later.
Some things are easier than others. And it seems it’s easier to turn on a TV and Playstation and boot up a game.
Then just push myself to the left, like 1 meter and turn on my Wacom Cintiq and boot up my drawing software of choice.
Still have no answer on why that is. Someday, maybe.😁
🌿 My Art Journey
I’m not gonna lie, I have felt pretty down the past week. No one sees my Plein AirPrils drawings on Cara. No one read last week’s post. People saying Notes are super, but I don’t see it. Streaming with myself.
Yea too much negativity at once. Time to step back a little. And gather new strengths! Numbers do a number on me. Ha see what I did there 😉
I’m finally done with my Magic The Gathering Re-Design of a the card ”Flying Men”. Did live stream the last bit. By myself. But I got happy I finally done with it. And to be honest, it was kind of fun to take a card like this and update it in my way. The idea for it came via a Portfolio Cycle at ArtWod.
And I have not yet given up on my Plain AirPril! I’m still trying to figure out how to do them. And what software. But its tilting to use Affinity Photo because I have the best nature brushes there.
I did the forest one in Photo and got not happy. Not gonna do line art for background stuff.
For the desert I used vector instead. Not gonna do that either. Looks easy when others do it. Not for me.
Ocean was done in Rebelle 7. And it could work, if I just get more friendly with their brushes.
If you are doing Plein AirPril. Maybe join my Discord and show it there?
How much do you Procrastinate?
